Topic: Mobility cultures and policies after Covid-19
Deadline for Abstracts: 10th May 2021 | Deadline for Articles: 15th September, 2021
The Journal of Mobility Culture & Policies welcomes new and exciting articles for its upcoming issues. We invite authors to report on experiences, challenges and opportunities for a mobility paradigm shift after the Covid-19. The following questions can guide (but not limit) the authors:
- How has Covid-19 changed experiences of, practices and approaches to mobility cultures and policies?
- Which are those that would favor behavioral changes?
- Does speed have a negative social value?
- Does willingness to pay reflect a social preference? To reveal preferences, does willingness to pay mean less than voting in an election?
- Do current assessment methods sufficiently take into account environmental considerations? Or social equity? Or spatial equity?
- Should the criterion of value for money be put in the trash?
- Will we have the financial means to make the necessary investments? Can the use of PPPs help us do this?
- Should we not consider an inevitable increase in the coefficient of scarcity of public funds?”
- What are the implications of the pandemic in relation to the SDGs and their potential for mobility paradigm shift?
Abstracts welcome by 10th May 2021.
